ePanelock® Custom Project
Success Stories
A tier-one telephone company had a problem with people trying to plug into their open Ethernet ports to access the internet at very remote sites on mountain tops. These people had legitimate access to the huts, and although their intent was not malicious, it played havoc with the carrier’s network. These communications huts are very small, and internal cages were not an acceptable option for a lot of reasons. Denver Innovations designed a custom solution that protected just these ports with keys that matched what their technicians typically carry, and saved them a lot of unnecessary, and very expensive, dispatches.
A state employee credit union had several branch locations where they installed communications equipment. Space was limited in these small offices, and they had a mandate for 2-operator access. Denver Innovations provided 1RU and 2RU ePanelocks with one side using a common key for the head of the state’s network, and the other with all different keys for each of the branch managers. This saved them thousands of dollars in custom retrofits, and met all their needs perfectly.
A leading national cellular provider had several radio bays of equipment with a lot of fiber optic cables. Their primary concern was protecting the cables from getting snagged by people working around the facility. They were using a different company’s protective covers that were taking up several rack spaces that they wanted to recover to use for more equipment. Denver Innovations adapted their designs to create new covers that used no rack spaces to cover the entire bay, and allowed the wireless carrier to add a third radio to each bay, saving them extremely valuable floor space.
